Sushant Singh Rajput Case: ED probes director Dinesh Vijan’s House and office

While probing the money laundering angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, The Enforcement Director (ED) raided Director and producer Dinesh Vijan’s house and office.

Dinesh Vijan was Sushant’s director in the 2017 released movie, Raabta, which also starred Kriti Sanon and Jim Sarbh. According to a report, payments made to Sushant by Dinesh in 2016 are under the scanner.

According to India Today, payments made to Sushant Singh Rajput by Dinesh Vijan in 2016 for Raabta are under probe. Dinesh Vijan, according to sources, was questioned by the ED on two occasions earlier where he was asked to provide documents and other details related to the payments made to Sushant Singh Rajput as a signing amount.

Moreover, Sources have told India Today that some producers make payments to actors and actresses overseas and that is under probe by the ED.

Notably, The panel of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) doctors, led by Dr Sudhir Gupta submitted the report of Sushant Singh Rajput’s viscera reports based on the 20 per cent viscera sample available with them after evaluation to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Recently, the AIIMS report also confirmed suicide as the cause of death, thereby ruling out murder.

However, Vikas Singh, The lawyer of Sushant’s Family has wrote a letter accusing the AIIMS doctor of leaking the report. “Clearly the said leak is aimed at creating doubts in the mind of people, bailing out agencies who have not done their job as per rules and standard protocols, benefitting the culprits and derailing the course of ongoing investigation,” he wrote.

He has also made some claims about the report earlier, Vikas Singh family lawyer of Sushant Singh Rajput claimed that according to AIIMS doctor’s report the cause of death was “200% strangulation” Vikas Singh had said, “Getting frustrated by the delay in CBI taking a decision to convert abetment to suicide to murder of SSR [Sushant Singh Rajput]. The Doctor who is part of AIIMS team had told me long back that the photos sent by me indicated 200% that it’s death by strangulation and not suicide.”

Notably, In their probe against Rhea Chakraborty and others, ED hasn’t found any suspicious transaction which could support the allegation that they siphoned off money from Sushant Singh Rajput’s accounts.
