In the last 20 days, Indian Army has captured 6 new hills at LAC on the China border. According to a govt source, People’s Liberation Army (PLA) wanted to occupy them to dominate Indian Positions.
The hills are Magar Hill, Gurung Hill, Rezang La Rachana La, Mokhpari and the biggest peak on the Finger 4 ridge line.
As per the sources, India Today reported that The Black Top and The Helmet Top are at the Chinese side of LAC where as the heights occupied by the Indian Army are in Indian territory. Now the Chinese Army has gathered around 3000 additional troops of its combined arm bigrade including its infrantry and armoured troops, near the Rezang La and Rechen La heights.
Moreover, India Today reported that China has erected Nine buildings on Napal’s land. It isn’t even allowing Napali authority to get into this area. PLA troops have constructed nine buildings between Limi and Lapcha in Nepal’s Humla district.
Reports claim that China is ultimately taking advantage of the LAC standoff with India . In the reports, the most recent case is from Nepal’s Humla district where the Chinese have stealthily constructed a building in Namkhya village. They are building all the nine in the same village which is even done yet. China has prohibited the entry of any Napalese local or authority in to this zone.
The head of the Village Council, Vishnu Bahadur Lama visited the areas and revealed that People’s Liberation Army has completed the construction of nine buildings in the Lapcha area of Limi village.
He further informed over the phone that he wasn’t allowed to enter the area. Lama clicked the pictures into his phone and revealed that construction has been done two kilometers inside Nepal’s side of China-Nepal border.
A Local elected representatives from Nepal said construction of three buildings by the Chinese between Limi and Lapcha was halted after Nepal objected to road development by China in the area in 2019. However, the Chinese have now erected nine buildings which are now in the final phases of completion.
Locals are being stopped from getting into the area which is their own land said Vishnu Bahadur Lama.
When contacted, Humla chief district officer Chiranjeevi Giri said he has no knowledge of Chinese erecting buildings between Limi and Lapcha, he added.
Notably, When asked about the China occupying the Nepali land, the foreign minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali straight denied the fact.
