“No one can save such a party,” said Shivraj Singh Chouhan on the current Congress Conflicts.
The conflicts amongst the Congress leaders had intensified on Monday. After a letter written by more than 20 doyen Congress leaders was sent to the Gandhi Family. They criticized the management of the party by the family. They also appealed for a “full time, visible leadership”.
The opposition party of BJP obviously took note of the row. Senior BJP members took jibes at the current conflicting party. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan was one of the many senior leaders who responded to the clash. Chouhan made a note of the comments made reportedly by Rahul Gandhi over the CWC meeting on Monday.(Source: NDTV)
As reported and quoted by India.com, “At Monday’s Congress Working Committee (CWC) meet, former party president Rahul Gandhi lashed out at over 20 ‘dissident’ leaders, including Ghulam Nabi Azad and Kapil Sibal, for writing a letter, seeking change in part’s leadership, to interim party chief Sonia Gandhi, at a time when she is battling ill health”.
Chouhan allegedly took note of the comments made in the CWC meeting and said, “When Scindiaji raised his voice, he was accused of colluding with BJP. Now, when leaders like Ghulam Nabi Azad and Kapil Sibal are demanding a full-time party chief, they’re also being accused of colluding with BJP. No one can save such a party.” This was reported by ANI.
