Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father K K Singh filed another caveat in the Supreme Court on Thursday to hear the permission. Earlier, Rhea Chakraborty has asked a stay on investigations by Patna police and transfer the probe to Mumbai.
Father K K Singh has sought permission to be heard before it passes any order in connection with the Rhea’s plea. Rhea moved to Supreme Court after FIR lodged against her on Singh’s complaint. Singh accused Rhea of the abetment of suicide.
Rhea’s advocate Satish Maneshinde said, “An investigation under Section 174 of CrPC is already underway (in Mumbai). We have sought a stay on the investigation by Patna police and transfer of the probe to Mumbai.”
On the other side, the Supreme Court has dismissed the plea that seeking the transfer of investigation from Mumbai Police to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). A bench of Chief Justices S A Bobde, A S Bopanna, and V Ramasubramanian took out the decision. The bench said that the Mumbai Police should continue to do the job and if there is something, the plea be filed at Bombay High Court first. The Bench said, “Go to Bombay High Court if you have anything concrete to show.”
Earlier, father has alleged that 15 crore was pumped off from Sushant’s account in a year “to bank accounts of persons not known or connected to the late actor.” Also, Rhea is accused of giving Sushant overdose of medicine at her home and “falsely telling him that the actor was suffering from dengue.”
