On Wednesday, Kangana Ranaut’s team shared a screenshot of Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel and manager WhatsApp chat on twitter. The chat screenshot was shared with the Mumbai Police official.
The chat consist of messages that read Rangoli is asking police officials to send the questions to Kangana Ranaut to record the statement. Earlier, Kangana posted the video mentioning the curb of ‘nepotism’ in the Bollywood industry and how Sushant Singh is the victim of the same.
However, it is not confirmed that nepotism and lack of opportunity to the new-comers were the reason. Rangoli is pursuing it so that Kangana’s statement could help late actor Sushant Singh Rajput get ‘justice’.
“There is no formal summon sent to Kangana, Rangoli keeps getting casual calls from the cops for the past 2 weeks, Kangana wants to record a statement but we don’t get any response from @mumbaipolice, Here’s a screenshot of message Rangoli Ji sent to @mumbaipolice,” the tweet read.
Kangana has been heating up the ‘nepotism’ market since such a talented actor’s sudden demise. She has openly spoken about favoritism towards the star kids, by the certain ‘gangs’ of Bollywood. Further, she also tagged them as “movie mafia” and “suicide gang” of the industry.
Later with the IANS, Kangana opened saying, “Well, for now, it has taken a life, many careers. it has just dismantled the very ambition of upcoming actors and struggling outsiders. It has caused a lot of damage. How to dismantle it? We need to talk about it. In many ways, it will prepare outsiders.”
Kangana recalled when she read producer-filmmaker Karan Johar’s obituary, she was left shocked. She earlier mentioned him as ‘intolerant’ towards the outsiders and a ‘flagbearer of nepotism’.
“I mean is he (Karan) planning to make another victim like that? I was shocked. So, they are preparing to continue with this ganging up on individuals, and he is pretty sure that he will face more people like that and at that time he may just reach out to that person,” she said.
