Since BJP failed to come to power in Delhi for almost two decades, the party’s leadership looks forward to taking the local party MPs steps up its efforts in taking on the Arvind Kejriwal led government and reaching out to people.
On the sidelines, the BJP is also taking steps to increase the party’s bond with the voters while keeping an eye on the efforts by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
While elections are on the height, Shah is learnt to have asked the party’s leaders in Delhi to take over AAP government on several issues concerning the capital.
Shah reportedly asked the Delhi leaders present in the meeting, “He (Kejriwal) gheraoed Sheila Dikshit for not working for slums and unauthorized colonies. Why should he not be asked as to what he did for them? Did he give them pucca houses or ensured better facilities in slums?”
