Another UP Girl Goes Missing After Accusing ex-Minister

An FIR has been filed against BJP’s Chinmayanand after another girl from Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh goes missing. Reportedly, the girl is supposed to be missing after she accused former Union Minister and BJP leader Swami Chinmayanand following her allegations in the video clip that he had been harassing her.

An FIR has been lodged under IPC Section related to criminal intimidation, kidnapping, reported PTI on Tuesday, 27th August quoting Shahjahanpur SP S Chanappa.

“I read a newspaper article about my daughter’s video and how she has gone missing. We looked everywhere, her friends’ houses, her college, our relatives. She was nowhere to be found. We will file a complaint soon.”

He also added that her phone number also went off and that they suspect Swami Chinmayanand is involved in the case. He said, “See, the BJP is very powerful at the moment. They are in power both in the state and the centre. We urge them to just give our daughter back.”

Earlier, on 23rd August, Friday, an LLM student from a college in Shahjahanpur posted a video on Facebook calling the director of the college, Swami Chinmayanand for ‘destroying the lives of several girls’.
